The Slater Designs FRK I-Bolic Surfboard was designed by Dan Mann as an everyday high-performance shortboard for Kelly Slater.
Meant to be ridden in a variety of conditions, Kelly Slater has been seen riding the Slater Designs FRK Surfboard everywhere. In his machine-made wave pool, Jeffrey’s Bay, the North Shore, and everywhere in between. From the first wave he rode, Kelly knew he had something special. In fact, most the FRK’s Kelly has been seen riding have been stock boards straight from Firewire’s factory.
The board features a single to double concave for maximum speed and control while maintaining medium rails for added paddle power. The round tail and five fin option make this board suitable for a wide range of surf. From average beach breaks to pulsing reef breaks, the FRK was built to perform.
