The Large front fins provide a good balance of drive and release with lots of down the line speed. NVS included a Small center fin / stabilizer to help keep the board under control if you want to feel a little more locked in. The upright design of the front fins allow for snappy turns with lots of pivot.
NVS is releasing the Nautilus fins in their Apex Series construction; made with a solid piece of precision foiled G10 fiberglass for the ultimate in performance and durability. The combination of highly durable material and precision foiling yield a fin that is stronger and has a more ideal flex pattern than your traditional honeycomb or composite fins. G10 is made by compressing layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin and baking it an autoclave to have the maximum strength of any fiberglass available.
